Guardian Council has short-listed 6 nominees for Iran’s presidential elections. These nominees include Hassan Rouhani, Es’hagh Jahangiri, Ebrahim Raisi, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Mostafa Hashemi Tabs, and Mostafa Mirsalim.
Former President Ahmadinejad has been excluded from the list. Previously the Supreme Leader of Iran Khamenei has advised Ahmadinejad to stay out of Presidential elections.
Total of 1636 nominations were received.
