In an Islamophobic tweet, Donald Trump Jr, son of Donald Trump pointed fingers at the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan. He tweeted a quote of Sadiq Khan given six month prior to the attack. In an interview, Khan has said “Part and parcel of living in a great global city is you’ve got to be prepared for these things, you’ve got to be vigilant, you’ve got to support the police doing an incredibly hard job”.

- There is only one attacker involved in the attack. The attacker first ploughed the pedestrians at Westminster Bridge before crashing into the railing of the Houses of Parliament and exiting the car to continue the attack.
- One police officer and two pedestrians have died in the attack. The attacker has also been killed.
- About 20 people have been injured, including one women who had jumped into the river.

In a terror attack at London, an unknown assailant stabbed a policeman at British Parliament with a knife and was shot dead immediately. The terrors suspect appears to be of Asian origins.
Before attacking the policeman, the suspect had used his Hyundai 4×4 vehicle as a weapon by running over pedestrians Westminster Bridge. 10 people have been severely injured in this attack, whereas 2 people are confirmed dead.
There are also conflicting reports from various British media outlets on whether the attack was carried out by one attacker or two attackers.
As the word about the attack spread, the entire British Parliament has gone into a lockdown mode. All the members of British Parliament are safe.
Muslim Council of Britain has issued the following statement:
“We are shocked and saddened by the incident at Westminster. We condemn this attack and while it is still too early to speculate on the motives, our thoughts and prayers are for the victims and those affected.”
“We pay tribute too to the police and emergency services who handled this with bravery. The Palace of Westminster is the centre of our democracy and we must all ensure that it continues to serve our country and its people with safety and security.”
