Donald Trump and his team have removed the Muslim Ban Statement from his official website after winning US elections. In December 2015, Donald Trump called for “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States”. After much criticism, Donald changed the tone to ‘extreme vetting’, rather than blanket ban.

However, after getting elected as President of United States, Donald Trump has taken a U-turn and removed the statement from his website. There is still no official confirmation from either Donald or his team about this decision.

Donald’s election strategy has been “tell them what they want to hear”. It remains to be seen, whether it was just a marketing technique or Donald would actually implement what he promised to the people.
