The suspect named Satoshi Uematsu has been arrested by police.

The 26 year old attacker, who is a former employee of the care facility told police that “It would be better if disabled people disappeared”.  Police have still not confirmed the motive behind the attack, although it appears to be a work related that led the suspect to commit this extremely heinous crime.
